Tiger Darling is the Irish production company of producer Alicia Ní Ghráinne and writer/director Michael Kinirons. We create, develop and finance distinctive, audience-driven film and television for the international market. Our passion is for collaborating with exceptional creative talent to bring bold, original stories to the screen.

ALICIA NÍ GHRÁINNE

Founder / Tiger

Alicia is an Irish producer, writer and director who studied at University College Dublin and Drama Centre, Central Saint Martins, London. She is a creative producer with a passion for bold, original storytelling. She thrives on close collaboration with writers, shaping distinctive projects from early development through to financing.

Her debut feature as producer, The Sparrow, won Best First Irish Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh and the Audience Award at Seminci. She subsequently co-produced Five and a Half Love Stories in an Apartment in Vilnius, Lithuania, which won Best Film in the Rebels with a Cause competition at Tallinn Black Nights.

MICHAEL KINIRONS

Co-founder / Darling

Michael is an award-winning Irish writer and director who studied at Trinity College Dublin and the National Film and Television School. His first feature as screenwriter, Strangerland, starring Nicole Kidman, premiered at Sundance. His debut as writer-director, The Sparrow, won Best First Irish Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh and an IFTA.

His next projects include the psychological thriller Anima starring Anthony Boyle and the Lucia Joyce biopic Lucia starring Maya Hawke.
